Card Making

Well as you can see by this picture what I have sort of been up to over the weekend. I have taken my first attempt at Card Making, these cards I have made will be given to my nephews for Christmas. Tell me what you think. Not bad for my first attempt I don't think what do you reckon..

Ice Road Truckers Season 3-- Fox8 Monday nights 8.30pm

Well Season 3 of Ice Road Truckers started a few weeks ago and now I am totally hooked on this show, and have been for some time now..Well this season there is a woman trucker called "Lisa Kelly" and she is awesome and she totally rocks and I want to be just like her..I got a friend of mine to doctor some of the pics. I have had my face put in Lisa Kellys body and Bretts face put on Alex Debaborksi's body and Steves face put on Hugh Rowlands. Tell me what you think..

Latest Scrapbooking Layouts

These are my 2 latest Scrapbooking Layouts. One called "Memories", is about my Mum when she use to work for her father in his bakery at Charlestown back in the early 1960's, My Opa's bakery was called "Pete's Cakes". The second layout is called "Friends Forever", is about my school friend Leisa Lewis (nee Ashman), and I, we have been friends since High School, the photo was taken on 6th January 2009.

Day Trip -- South West Rocks -- June 2009

Back in June Brett, Kosmo and I took a Day Trip one Saturday to South West Rocks and also went out the Smoky Cape Lighthouse as well..What a lovely place.Here are a couple of photos.

Day Trip -- Harrington, Crowdy Head, Cape Hawk,Foster/Tuncurry

2 weeks ago Hubby Kosmo and I took a day trip in our new 4WD, to give it a bit of a test. We went up as far as Harrington, including going out to Crowdy Head Lighthouse as well, this is on the Mid North Coast its near Taree but on the coast, and came back thru Forster/Tuncurry and all the small towns on the Lakes Way back to Buladelah (i think this is not the right spelling) then home.

It was a great day stopping at little beaches on the way down, took some photos and even went to Cape Hawk at Foster and walked out on a ledge on the cliff to take some photos, well I didn't realise I was scared of heights till this day, my legs turned to jelly when I went out on the platform to take some photos.. I will leave you with a photo of the Crowdy Head Lighthouse

Secret Scrapbooking Project

I recently started doing a Secret Scrapbooking Project.

Well I have finished and delivered it to its new rightful owner. As I told you in an early post I got a promotion at work, and it was all because of my boss "NEALE BIDNER", so I wanted to thank him for all he had done for me during the last 2yrs being my boss and working in his department, so with the help of his sister ROSALIE, who was able to provide me with some pictures to use, my boss is 49yrs old, the pictures I used for this project are from back in 1972 when he was the school captain of Morpeth Public School, and a few others of him when he was older and younger, and one of when he was just a baby.

So here are the pictures I took of my finished project before I gave it too him. Tell me what you think...He absolutely loved it...

Sully & Jai's Birthday Present

Well I can now finally reveal to you all what we brought the nephews for their birthdays, thats right we brought them brand new Mountain Bikes. Here are some pictures I took of them yesterday afternoon just after giving them to them. They had a bit of a ride then it was time to go out to dinner, WOW, I have to admit I was a little naughty but was also good as well and didn't eat too much like I would have done in the past.
