Last Monday was Australia Day, and hubby and I went down to Darling Harbour in Sydney for the day, what a great place, lots of people, lots to do.
We arrived in Sydney around 9.15am, First of all we went to the Sydney Wildlife Park, we seen lots of Cuddly Koalas (which i have decided I would like as a pet LOL LOL), snakes, reptiles, Kangaroos, Wombats,Caroways, loads and loads of coloured Butterflies, Spiders....just to name a few. I must have taken about 100 photos of more just at the Wildlife Park, we didn't go to the Aquarium, we went to the National Maritime Museum, that is an interesting place, we took a few more photos there as well, we seen a Navy Ship and Submarine that had docked in Darling Harbour, lots of cruise boats, there was some street theatre going on, and darling Hubby even got to be part of "Psycho Sam" 1hr show..
We had lunch at a little Indian Cafe, hubby had a rump steak and chips and I had Chicken and Wedges, I got a couple of Australian Flags, they were giving these away for Free.. When we were at the Wildlife Park we went into the bird enclosure and this beautiful coloured Parrot just flew over and sat on Bretts head then decided he was going to fly down to Bretts shirt pocket and sit on it and chew it.
All in all it was a great day, it was overcast till after lunch when the sun came out and became very hot, but as the weather warmed up thats when all the people started coming into Darling Harbour, we left Sydney at 3.30pm to come home, and we had walked around all day since we had got there...
Well this week, its been very hot here in Newcastle, so when i get home from work has been the hottest part of the day, being 6.00pm, i was just saying to my darling hubby this morning, why is it that the hottest part of the day has been late in the evening, and even he didn't have an answer for me..So I haven't walked this week only on Monday when we went to Sydney for the day..So here are my uptodate photos, can anyone see a difference..I have been really strict with the eating part of my diet, and am doing really well with this..
Well for the past few weekends I have been working on a "Special Off the Page Project".
Well I finally finished it and sent it to her on Wednesday via Express Post, she received it on Thursday, and totally loved it.
I am very pleased with this project as it was really my very first off the page project, here are some photos of the project, thanks Jodi for sending me the pictures as I forgot to take some before I posted it off. I also put in the package a beautiful card, because her friendship means the world to me, because there ain't many people like her in the world, and YES Jodi we are so alike, and one of these days we will meet, enjoy your little album..
Well on the animal update there is nothing new to tell you other than both Kosmo and Beaver are doing well, Last saturday Kosmo had his hydrobath and his manicure LOL...Here are some updated pictures I took during the week of them..
I know this is Kosmos Blog, but he has given me permission to talk about other things other than himself...
This updated photo of Kosmo was taken just a little while ago, while we were washing our cars, Kosmo loves the hose, and likes to get wet, even after he just had his bath yesterday.
Ok, i normally don't do a daily photo update, but just had to today. I was all excited about taking a drive in my new car this morning, this photo was taken just before I was about to leave, thought you all might like to see me in my car.
Hey there, I reckon I would have to be not only a lucky lady but also a very spoilt lady, take a look at these photos of my new car that hubby brought me.
Its a 1990 Model Ford Capri 1.6lt Turbo 2 door Convertible, yes thats correct a convertible, with a roof that pops off so you can enjoy a nice ride on a lovely sunny day. It has lots of power, let me tell you. I reckon Kosmo will want to have a ride with his mum in my car.
It didn't matter what Beaver did yesterday in the heat he couldn't get comfortable, I found him asleep in my computer desk, down where you put your CPU tower, if you have one. I just had to take this photo of him.
I am 38yrs old Married 21yrs to DH Brett. We have 3 Kids, furkids ,and a couple of budgies that is: 2 dogs Kosmo and Jaws, and a Kitty Kat called Beaver, as well as budgies called "Fonz, Laverne & Shirley"
