Weigh - in

Well today was weigh-in day today, I have been a little off track this last 2 weeks with the diet, and I can honestly say I have been bad, like McDonalds, KFC and Chocolate and lack of exercise. but I am back on track as of today no more of the bad stuff and plenty of exercise..I have put on 800grams in the last 2 weeks..
I must get Brett to take an updated photo of me as its been a while since I have had my photo taken and put on the blog..
My health is getting back on track, seems the medication is working as I had my blood pressure checked again yesterday and it was near normal.
Well back to reading my book I will be back soon

This layout I did yesterday. HOORAY I finally have my scrapping MOJO back, but I must admit I have read quite a few scrapbooking magazines lately, and finding them very interesting.

R.I.P --- Bob Knight (Truckie Shot in Sydney)

My heart goes out to the family of Sixty-six-year old Bob Knight was driving past a KFC outlet in south-western Sydney when he was struck by a bullet.

Janette Knight says her husband was devoted to the family.

"Bob was fun loving. Loved life. Very happy go lucky person. Loved a good joke, very devoted family man - very devoted. Loved trucks and loved his dogs," she said.

Police have described Mr Knight's death as an "unbelievable tragedy."

I can't imagine how his family is feeling, But everytime my husband Brett goes to work, I always say to him I Love Him before he leaves, because like Bob Knight he too his a Truck Driver. Some people in the world we live in never have a good thing to say about Truck Driver, they think they are bad, but try going for a drive with one of these drivers one day and see just what happens, Cars pulling out in front of them etc.

I took these photos of Beaver the other night whilst he and Kosmo were playing in the loungeroom, Beaver decided that he would hide in his tunnel and let Kosmo try and find him, but also he was teasing Kosmo at the same time as well.

Steve (aka TANK)

I would like to introduce to you a friend of mine Called Steve aka TANK. I have known Steve now for probably 10yrs or more, we met over at the Slimdusty yahoogroups club, and have been good friends ever since...He is a truck driver just like my hubby.

R.I.P Michael Jackson - Died of A Heart Attack Aged 50

Well when i heard this morning from a work colleague that Michael Jackson had died, I said your having me on aren't you and they said no, What a shame to have lost another King of Pop, I feel for his family and particularly his kids right now, So I hope that the media will give them their time to grieve, and also respect there wishes to be left alone at this time, I had 3 favourite Michael Jackson Songs, they were:

Weigh In Day -- Sunday 21st June 2009

It was weigh in day on Sunday 21st June 2009, and guess what I have lost another 1.1kgs in weight, which means I have now lost a total of 11.6kgs..Well only 12.4kgs to go till we get to the real true goal, and i believe I can do it. What do ya reckon.... So that is 11.6kgs of these things above I have lost and boy oh boy do they weigh heavy

Health Update

Hello to my wonderful friends out there in blogging land,

As you all know I have not been well for the last week or 2, It seems I have very high blood pressure and on Monday 15th June i suffered a Mini Heart Attack, yes that is what i said, since i have had numerous tests to follow up on this, and my diabetes which I have had for 8 yrs now is now back under control as well but I still have to test every morning before breakfast, it seems to have gone a little haywire during the last few weeks.

This all started back about a month or so ago now when whilst at work i would get these headaches and it felt like my head was going to explode, i just took it as a headache you know take a pill and it will settle and go away which it did, but little did I know that my blood pressure was very high, and when it is as high as mine has been getting apparently (thats to Dr Helen), it puts pressure on the nerves in your brain and it can cause a Stroke or a Heart Attack.

I am now on medication for this to help and bring it down, and Dr Helen says no stressing at work ( i said to her you better find me a new job then, because what job doesnt have stress LOL).

I have been feeling a lot better, but had a funny turn on Monday night 22/6/09 whilst driving home from work so I pulled over on the side of the road and it settled and went away so I drove home again... I am not feeling the best today so I thought today would be the day to blog about it, I had to go to the local chemist this morning and get the blood pressure checked and it was 130/100 but the 100 should be about 70, so this is a bit worrying.
