WEEK 15 -- THE DIET

Well the last 2 weeks have been interesting, week 14 was really well, but extremely busy and stressful at work trying to get things done, but yes we did it as usual.

Week 15, What can I say? The week started out really well with meeting my cousin for the first time on Tuesday, but whilst we were walking down the street I slipped and twisted my ankle, So I haven't been able to walk at all since this happened on Tuesday at lunch time, So no exercising, and not being home at tea time for both Brett and I for the next 3 nights, meant we ate some food that isn't any good for you like McDonalds and Chinese Food, So we have been a little naughty...

And yes today was weigh-in day and I have put on 400grams and Brett has now lost another 300grams, so overall we haven't done to bad I think. I have started to walk 10mins at a time on my walking machine and will increase it back to 30mins as the ankle gets better. So I will leave you with a picture of my Cousins daughter Miss Caitlan.

An Album just for "BEAVER"

I recently started to scrap an album all about BEAVER THE KITTY KAT, and I am finally finished.

The front and back cover of the album is actually fabric I brought from a shop down the road from my place called "Patchwork Coffee On Main", WOW what a great little shop, you can do classes there for quilting etc. The fabric I purchased is just beautiful and as you can see by the photos has just cats on it.

All of the papers used in this album were given to me for my birthday in kit form, and I have purchased all the embelishments throughout the last couple of months to use in it. The photos are random photos taken of Beaver during the last 12 months. I am very happy with the way this has turned out. I look forward to all your comments. The photos I have taken are of some of the pages in this little album.

FIND MY FAMILY -- I WOULD LIKE TO INTRODUCE "PATRICIA ANN SCREEN"

Hello everyone

I would like to introduce to you Patricia Ann Screen, she is 26yrs old, has a partner called Darren and a beautiful 3 yr old daughter called Caitlan, she lives in lovely sunny Adelaide in South Australia. and has come all the way to Newcastle to meet up with some family members that she has never met before.

She is my cousin, the daughter of my Uncle that I have recently met with after all these years...And boy oh boy doesn't she look like her dad...

She came to my work on Tuesday and we had lunch together and this was the first time I had ever ever met her. Today being Friday we met up again and spent some more time with each other, I also took her to meet some other family members whom she had never met before. Our other cousin Margaret who lives on the Gold Coast in Queensland flew down to see her as well, they haven't seen each other in 16yrs. Take a look at some of the photos that were taken today, one is of her and me together and Caitlan and myself.

Slipping In The Rain

Well how clumsy must I be, on Tuesday at lunchtime I was walking down the street from work to grab some lunch when I slipped on one of those Telstra grids on the footpath, I have substained an ankle injury, So I haven't been able to use my walking machine, and havent had much sleep of a night as well..I think I faired pretty well unlike my friend Jodi, who came off SOLO during the week and is very very sore and bruised, Hey jodi i think we must be twins LOL as we both have an injury to our ankle.

MY MOJO IS BACK -- Scrapbooking

Finally my Mojo for Scrapping has come back to me....

Last night I did this layout, Its of a photo taken of Hubby and I recently together, I used lots of different flowers and some embelishments, and lots of bling as you can see.

NOT LONG TO WAIT NOW

Not long to wait now till I finally get to meet my cousin "Patricia Ann Screen", I have pictures of her and have spoken to her on the phone and on the internet, but next week marks the day when we will finally meet in the flesh for the very first time.. Its kinda like FIND MY FAMILY, as up till about October/November last year I had no idea that she even existed...

I am excited and nervous at the same time, I can guarantee you that there will be lots of tears, but good tears. I will keep you all updated, Wish Me Luck....

Week 13 - Come and Gone again

Well Week 13 has come and gone in a flash, but work wise it was the longest week in history I reckon LOL LOL.

Good news to report I have now lost 8.6kgs since starting 13 weeks ago.

Which means in the last 2 weeks I have lost 2.3kgs, WOW... So 13 weeks ago when I started I was 123.9kgs and I am now 115.3kgs, I am only 1.4kgs off reaching my first goal of 113.9kgs. I know I can do this.

My Body Mass Index (BMI) when I started was 37.8 and its slowing coming down and we are at 34.8.

I am now weighing myself every two weeks so I will then update my blog about my weight again in 2 weeks time.

"Snow Buddies"

Yesterday afternoon we went to the local video store and hired out a couple of movies.
One was this movie, you gotta love these cute little puppies, they are clever, can out smart anyone, but most of all they are all cute little balls of fluff.

I would recommend this movie to anyone that likes animals . I also give it a 10/10. Its a must see.

I can't tell you what happens because that would spoil it all for you, so go down to your nearest video store and hire it.

But what I can tell you is I am sure Kosmo and Beaver wouldn't mind having these little balls of fluff as their brothers and sisters LOL LOL LOL

Beethoven's Big Break

Sleeping Beauty
